THE IDEA: As a garden designer in 2010 I wrote and published a book to inspire teachers to do as much teaching outdoors as possible; then I wondered if I designed a project that children would enjoy doing and that would help to teach them team work, logistics and structural details then this could be useful. The shed design I came up with would not only fit these criteria but it would encourage wildlife to the otherwise often hostile playground environment. My original wet room design attracted 22 species of bird visiting the pond on top during the course of the first winter. The resulting shed could function as a dry toilet that can be erected by and used by children; it could also double as a bird hide. We are a team of seasoned professional people who love what we do.
